Refunds & Returns Policy

At Find Unusual, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined below.

This policy covers returns for sunglasses, accessories, and prescription eyewear. Please read carefully, as different conditions apply depending on the product type.

General Returns Policy (Sunglasses & Accessories)

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

• The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging, including any cases, cleaning cloths, and accessories provided.
• The product must be in the same condition as received, with no scratches, damage, or signs of wear.
• A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
• Custom-made items, such as prescription lenses, are subject to different return conditions (see below).

How to Initiate a Return

1. Contact Us: Email contact@findunusual.com within 30 days of receiving your order to request a return authorization.
2. Return Shipping: Once approved, we will provide the return address. You are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping.
3. Inspection & Approval: Once we receive the item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets return criteria.
4. Refund Processing: If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Refunds & Processing Time

• Refunds are issued within 5-7 business days after approval.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• If the returned item is damaged, used, or missing components, a partial refund or store credit may be issued.
• If the item is rejected for a refund, we will notify you via email.

Prescription & Custom Lenses Returns Policy

30-Day Guarantee – Manufacturing Defects Only

• The 30-day guarantee period begins from the date of order.
• If your prescription lenses or frames have a manufacturing defect, we will replace them free of charge within 30 days.
• You must return the item to us for assessment before a replacement is issued.

Refunds for Prescription Lenses

If you are not 100% satisfied with your lenses and request a refund:

• The lenses must be returned in their original condition. Any damage to the lenses or coatings may result in a reduced refund amount.
• If your order included custom-made or special lenses, a service charge of 30% may be deducted if the issue is outside of our control and not due to an error on our part.
• If you prefer, we can reinstate your previous lenses into the frames if they were previously owned by you.

Important Notes

• Shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable.
• All refunds are subject to an administration charge.
• This is a professional reglaze service and should not be used as a way to trial multiple lens types without commitment.
• Lenses that have been fitted to a customer’s own frame are non-refundable.

Money-Back Guarantee – Special Cases

We will always consider a full refund, but this will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If special lenses were manufactured and the issue is outside of our control, a service charge of 30% may be retained.

Exchanges

• We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to a manufacturing fault.
• If you need an exchange, please email us at contact@findunusual.com with details of the issue.

Return Shipping Responsibility

• You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning an item.
• If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.
• We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Your Legal Rights

When you purchase goods from a business, you have a number of rights as a consumer under UK law. These include the right to claim:

• A refund, replacement, repair, and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.
• Further protection under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty products.
